The Deficit: yuck what a mess. Well the problem with the current crop of Republicans, (at the federal level anyway), give the tax money back and spend and spend and spend. We should never run our current affairs by charging them. It is wrong and our children and grandchildren don’t deserve to be paying for our mess. Short-term deficits may be good to get by for the short term. But we should be able to pay our way. Our children will have problems of their own without us dumping a huge debt onto them. If we can’t afford a program then maybe we should not be doing it.

 
I will work for:

1)  Balancing the budget. This will include taxing if needed to pay for projects.

2)  Finding and eliminating waste where ever it can be found. Both federally and locally.

3)  Finding and Eliminating any tax loop holes.
