Bio Blurb:

Dan has deep roots in Minnesota. His ties to the region extend from the Iron Range to Waseca. With Family living and growing throughout the state, so he understands the issues. After living in Colorado for a few years he moved to Minnesota to stay in 1982. He attended the University of Minnesota, studying aerospace engineering and received his Commercial Pilots license while flying at Flying Cloud in Eden Prairie. He is a father with 3 wonderful children, two from marriage. Since coming back to Minnesota he has lived in Shakopee and Burnsville. For twenty years he has worked in construction as a general contractor and a subcontractor with Sela Roofing. During that time he also volunteered for and served as a member of the Board of Appeals for the city of Burnsville. As part of his growing concern with politics in Burnsville and the surrounding area he also served for a brief time on the Executive Committee for the Republican Party in SD 40 covering Burnsville and South Bloomington. There he became increasingly dissatisfied with rhetoric and direction of the party. After leaving the Executive Committee he spent the next few years studying the issues and becoming increasingly dismayed with the events taking place in the country. No longer able to stand on the side lines he has now re-entered politics with a renewed strength of conviction and understanding.
